Shizuoka parish has Icons handed by Irene Rin Yamashita ( 1857-1939 ), a pioneer of Western-style painting in Japan.
We worship together with her Icons.
Here we will show some of them.
The Resurrection of the Lord
The Resurrection of Christ on the Third Day after his Crucifixion.
Protection of the Theotokos
Shizuoka Church is dedicated to the Protection of the Theotokos (Virgin Mary). This icon is hung on the south side of the iconostasis as the naming icon of the church.
